In Nevada, more than 40% of youth aging out of foster care—and many more from unstable or troubled homes—face homelessness within 18 months, often without a safe place to live, steady work, or a support system. These young people are the very generation who will one day form the backbone of our workforce and care for tomorrow’s seniors. Without intervention, the cycle of instability repeats, weakening both their future and ours. At Nevada Sage Alliance, we invest in these youth through housing support, mentorship, and education to ensure they enter adulthood with stability and purpose. Together, we can break the cycle and build a stronger future for Nevada, one young life at a time.
The Solution
At Nevada Sage Alliance, we believe that a thriving community depends on the well-being of both our seniors and our youth. Our mission is to provide funding and programs that ensures older adults—especially those who are underinsured, uninsured, or facing financial hardship—can access essential medical services and live with dignity. At the same time, we invest in programs that equip young people with the resources, skills, and opportunities to become the compassionate, capable adults who will one day support future generations of seniors.
